Dwarf Sports Association UK (DSAuk) Scotland Region Development Officer

Flexible working over 4 days (28 hours per week) with some weekend working where required

2-year fixed term contract

£22,000 per annum

After a successful funding application to the Scottish Lottery Community Fund, the Dwarf Sports Association UK (DSAuk) are seeking to employ a Scotland Region Development Officer. A successful candidate will work across these important areas of DSAuk provision: Scotland Partnership Development, DSAuk Region and Member Support, event delivery.

The role requires you to work flexibly, spending time familiarising yourself with the operation of the DSAuk Scotland region and build a network of external partners and relationships that will lead to more inclusion and increase opportunities for people with dwarfism to take part in sport and activity. Travel around Scotland will be necessary and your own vehicle will be needed. Travel expenses etc will be discussed at interview.

Within this role you will be expected to work on your own initiative across Scotland, working towards achieving the objectives and plans set out in the work plan developed with DSAuk.

This is a part time post of 4 days a week and will require regular weekend working, details of which will be discussed during the interview. The role will require flexible working to meet the needs of the Scottish Region.
