It is with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Graham Minnett this week.
Graham was one of the founder members of the then DAAUK. Now the DSAuk.
In 1993 he along with our President Arthur Dean took their daughters Kim and Nichola over to Chicago to compete equally in the 1st ever World Dwarf Games.
There daughters came back with many medals and Graham and Arthur were inspired to create the same experience here in England.
They formed the Board of the DAAuk, along with Steve Scott, Willie Coppen, Aldo Navato, Chris Chapman, Tony and Roz Smith and June Minnett.
They all worked hard to create the beginnings of this amazing Charity which is now in its 32nd year.
Although we did not see Graham a lot recently, he always took an interest from a far to follow the progress of the games.
Our thoughts are with June, Kim Louise and the grandchildren at this sad time.
