Happy belated 75th Birthday to the DSAuk President Arthur Dean OBE!

We hope you had a wonderful weekend celebrating this remarkable milestone.

Your vision, determination, and commitment have left an enduring mark on the lives of countless people. After travelling to Chicago in 1993 to learn from the DAAA, you returned inspired and founded the Dwarf Sports Association, creating opportunities, friendships, and sporting experiences that have benefited generations of athletes.

Your dedication helped build something truly special, and your legacy continues to be felt throughout the dwarf sports community today. We are grateful for everything you have done and for the opportunities you have created for so many and continue to do so as our President.

Arthur and Penny Dean were doth awarded OBE’s for their services to disability sport and the DSA and have been a driving force across the world, as they worked very closely with countries across the world and helped to form the International Dwarf Sports Federation. Without Arthur’s foresight and ambition the community of support across the UK for people with dwarfism would have looked very different. The whole of the DSAuk its members, trustees, volunteers and staff wish you a very happy 75th Birthday.
